Liesbeth Berkouwer
Liesbeth Berkouwer studied law at VU University in Amsterdam.
She started her career in 1997 as an administrative-law attorney at
a large law firm in Amsterdam. After having worked in other legal
positions for several years, she took up practice as an attorney
again in 2006. She joined Kennedy Van der Laan as an associate
partner on 1 February 2011.
Liesbeth assists public authorities, companies and institutions
in all kinds of administrative law matters. Her practice comprises
environmental law, supervision and enforcement, public order and
security, subsidy regulations and educational law. She also assists
companies in disputes of administrative law concerning CE markings
and quality standards.
Liesbeth likes to share her knowledge and experience in the
field of administrative law with others, for example by giving
courses and seminars to clients and organizations, delivering
lectures and publishing articles. Liesbeth is chair of the
administrative appeals and objections board of De Ronde Venen
municipality.
