Veerle van Druenen
Veerle joined Kennedy Van der Laan as an attorney in 2011. After
earning her bachelor's degree in law, she earned a master's
degree in Information Law in 2010, with a focus on IT law, media
law and intellectual property law. Besides, she earned a
master's degree in Private Law Practice. She wrote two
master's theses about unfair commercial practices in B2B
relations, and about the level of non-economic damages for unlawful
publications on the Internet.
During her studies Veerle worked at a legal advice center in
Amsterdam and as paralegal at a small, internationally oriented law
firm. Besides, for a considerable time during and after obtaining
her master's she worked as legal advisor for a legal
consultancy in the areas of IT and law.
At Kennedy Van der Laan Veerle is a member of the ICT group,
where she occupies herself with all aspects of IT law.
In her spare time Veerle likes cooking, snowboarding and
travelling. She also enjoys going out for dinner, to the cinema or
the theatre with friends.
