Joris van Horzen

Joris van Horzen graduated from Leiden University (with majors in civil law and business law) and joined Kennedy Van der Laan in 2004.

He is a member of the Banking & Finance Group and specializes in cross-border finance transactions, security laws and financial regulatory laws. Joris works particularly for international banks and other financial institutions.

Besides, he has gained a lot of experience in the field of payment transactions and has assisted a number of banks in implementing the Payment Services Directive.

In the period 2007-2009 Joris was seconded to the legal departments of ABN Amro and The Royal Bank of Scotland.
