Femke Leopold
After having completed her master's thesis on new risks in
liability law, Femke Leopold graduated from the University of
Amsterdam in 2006. She joined Kennedy Van der Laan that same
year.
Femke is broadly interested in all aspects of liability and
insurance law, in which fields she regularly advises as well as
litigates. In her practice Femke has specialized in the field of
professional liability, directors' and officers' liability,
liability of (lower) governments and insurance coverage. Femke
regularly publishes in professional journals and she is a member of
the editorial board of the magazine Risicobewust (Risk
Aware). She likes to share knowledge and frequently gives internal
and external courses in her professional field.
Femke has a great passion for travelling. After her graduation
she traveled around South-America and she tries to see as much of
the world as possible. In her spare time Femke also loves to go
sailing on the IJsselmeer, she plays squash and is an enthusiastic
movie fan.
