The Marian Kennedy Fellowship
On 1 January 2008 Marian Kennedy ended her career as partner of
Kennedy Van der Laan. Marian was one of the founders of our law
firm. She has always devoted herself to the improvement of the
position of women in general and the position of women in law firms
in particular.
Kennedy Van der Laan has established the "Marian Kennedy
Fellowship" as a tribute to Marian. The fellowship is an
annual prize to be awarded to a person or an organization for their
efforts to improve the position of women.
Since 2011 Ashoka supports the fellowship in choosing a
fellow. Ashoka is a global association for the world's
leading social entrepeneurs. Before 2011 the award ceremony
was organized in association with
Women Win.
Women Win supports sport activities for the empowerment of women
and girls worldwide.
